In the coming issue of the Swedish magazine Plaza Kvinna Carola reveals that she is now feeling so good about herself that she has two new albums planned plus a marriage should the right man turn up. She also talks about the wish of starting a school, Camp Carola, where young talents will be encouraged to pursue a career and given the appropriate support to do so.
Carola has represented Sweden three times at the Eurovision Song Contest and won it once, in 1991 with Fångad av en stormvind. In relation to this year’s Swedish final esctoday.com was able to report to you that she might be interested in coming back in 2008 – and Carola’s plans for the future are indeed interesting though it is still too early to know if she would participate in Melodifestivalen 2008.
In the interview with Plaza Kvinna which expressen.se is able to report from she reveals the coming plans for two new albums, a pop album she is currently working on and a Christmas album that will be a follow up to her Jul I Betlehem from 2001.
In the interview Carola talks openly about having her heart crushed,how she recoveredandhow that she has nowreached the point where she would be ready for marriage again should the right man turn up. She also talks about the man who has been stalking her, how she is still under some kind of police protection, but that she is now feeling a lot better.
Carola is only 40 years old; she was 16 when she entered the Eurovision Song Contest the first time in 1983 so she knows a bit about how it is to be a teenager in a grown up business. The experience she hasgained she is now ready to pass on to other children with special talents for music; "I want to encourage and teach others how to take care of what they have been given, how to dig out the gold in them", she says.
