The popular Spanish choreographer Javier Castillo, better known as Poty, has been appointed by TVE as the artistic director for the Spanish representatives, the boyband D'Nash. He will be coordinating both the choreography – to be carried out by Noemí Cabrera – and the stylism – Rubén Darío's task.

With the aim of creating a surprising and powerful performance for D'Nash, TVE has chosen Javier Castillo, better known as Poty, to manage the artistic direction for the Spanish hopefuls. His task will consist in coordinating the choreography and the stylism labours.

These two missions will be developed by Noemí Cabrera and Rubén Darío. Both of them have experience in Eurovision events: Noemí was the choreographer of Dani (4th placed at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest, held last December in Bucharest) and Rubén, his stylist.

Some Poty's facts

Javier Castillo was born in the northern Spanish town of Torrelavega (Cantabria), in 1960. He is a reputed dancer in Spain: Javier developed his talent in the National Ballet of Spain, made up the choreographies for several films and has a huge experience on TV. Poty was the choreographer of the Spanish broadcaster Antena 3, later he moved to TVE's Operación Triunfo and now he shows his abilities in the programme Mira quién baila, also in TVE. There, several Spanish celebrities develop their dancing skills every Monday, fighting to get the victory and contribute with a charity.

Since Spain is a so called 'big 4' country, D'Nash are directly qualified for the Eurovision Song Contest final in Helsinki on 12th May.
