The Dutch Eurovision Artists foundation celebrates it's 25th anniversary this year. The Eurovision Artists foundation was established in 1977. The main objective of the foundation was to provide the (Dutch) media with information regarding the Eurovision Songcontest. The foundation has co-operated in the compilation of several cd's, radio and television shows as well as articles in newspapers and magazines.

After a few years the foundation was contacted more and more by Eurovision Songcontest fans, looking for Eurovision Songcontest related information. The foundation decided to extend its activities with the publication of a magazine to accommodate all the information requests. This magazine, EA-nieuws, is issued four times a year and provides its members with information about the Eurovision Songcontest, exclusive interviews with artists who participated in the Eurovision Songcontest and background articles.

Since the 1980's the foundation has organised an annual Eurovision convention. At these conventions, Eurovision Songcontest fans meet each other, a record fair is organised, quizzes are held and artists perform their Eurovision song.

On October 12th, the foundation will organise a big Eurovision-party to celebrate it's 25th birthday. Ronnie Tober, who represented the Netherlands in 1968, is one of the main guests.
