Danish broadcaster Danmarks Radio (DR) is putting a call out to fans of participating Eurovision countries to get creative, and recreate and share the flag of the country they will support at the upcoming Eurovision Song Contest.

Much like the postcards to be shown prior to each entry during the live events on 6, 8, and 10 May, DR is asking viewers from participating countries to submit their own creative rendition of any participating country’s flag to show their support for that country.

As with the postcards themselves, participants can recreate their flag using any means – paint, food, socks, wood, cars; any way to recreate the flag.

In the days leading up to the contest, the most creative submissions will be selected to win some “stunning prizes”, although those prizes have not yet been announced. The competition is open to residents of any of the participating Eurovision countries, and those entering can show support for any country entering the contest this year – not necessarily their own!

Submissions can be done through Twitter or Instagram, with the hashtag #MyEurovisionFlag.

Will you get creative, and share your #MyEurovisionFlag?
