Europe is celebrating the 50th anniversary of the signing of the Treaty of Rome and VRT and RTBF joined their forces for an extraordinary show, Stars of Europe, live from the Heysel Plateau, under the Atomium in Brussels. Tonight at 20:30 CET the show will be broadcast by numerous European television stations. Among the performers several Eurovision Song Contest stars.
A live prime-time programme lasting three hours will be broadcast tonight at 20:30 CET by 38 television stations from 35 countries. Thirty European stars will be performing at Stars of Europe, live from Atomium in Brussels, Belgium, to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the signing of the Treaty of Rome. Some of the names? A special 30 meter, protected stage has been built for the occasion and the whole event will be covered by fifteen cameras. The show will highlight Brussels as the capital of all Europeans. Bart Peeters and Fabienne Vande Meerssche will host the event.

How to get there
The site will be closed to traffic for the evening so it would be advisable to use public transport to access the area (underground Houba Brugmann, line 1A, direction Roi Baudoin). You will enter through Place Saint Lambert. For more information on public transport click here.
