Once again, Melodifestivalen has proved to be a resounding commerical success in Sweden as well as a ratings success for SVT. No fewer than eight songs in this weeks top ten in the Swedish charts are from the Melodifestivalen final. The only two finalists that are not there are Anna Book (15) and Tommy Nilsson (23).
The Ark mirrored their victory by claiming the number one spot on the charts, they are followed by Sebastian at number two, Mans Zelmerlow at three and Sonja Alden at four with Melodifestivalen runner up, Andreas Johnson at number five. The highest non-Meldoifestivalen song is Varsta Schlagern (Worst/total Schlager) at number eight, a mickey-taking song by 2005 and 2006 finalist, Linda Bengtzing and Markoolio (you can see the video below).
