Are the monsters from Finland psychic? In some recently uncovered video footage from backstage in Athens last year, Lordi predicted that Lithuania would do well and that in 2007, a jazz act would appear at the Eurovision Song Contest. Is this a good omen for Roger Cicero and the German delegation?

In some backstage footage that esctoday.com has been given exclusive permission to publish, you can see several of last year's participants accurately predict Finland's victory. The footage was shot by a documentary team following Daz Sampson and the United Kingdom delegation at the 2006 Eurovision Song Contest, you can see some of the mishaps that occurred during the British rehearsals, including the stray microphone pack that nearly upstaged Daz in rehearsals.

Amongst other things, you can see just how seriously Daz worked to make sure the United Kingdom had the best chance of success, and some of the problems stars faced in getting through security. See some of the fans at the contest discussing the United Kingdom entries and others, and some of the stars of 2006 correctly predict the outcome.
