Unibet still have The Ark as clear favourites to win Melodifestivaen 2007, but Måns Zelmerlöw is closing the gap and Sonja's star is rising fast according to the bookmaker. Tomorrow night, the biggest television show of the year in Sweden takes place, and as usual, it stars some of the nations best known singers and bands.
The Ark are hot favourites, with a betting score of under 2/1 on. Måns is now clear second favourite with odds of 4.00 (3/1) nudging ahead of Andreas Johnson at 4/1 (5.00). Sonja Aldén, who was ranked below 100/1 before reaching the final is now joint third favourite to represent Sweden at the 2007 Eurovision Song Contest, moving alongside Sarah Dawn Finer with odds of 15.00 (14/1).
Whilst many believe the result in Sweden to be a foregone conclusion, results around Europe have shown that nothing can be taken for granted tomorrow night. Big names have fallen in France, Germany, Estonia and Romania already, and some believe that both Måns and Sonja along with all the other songshave what it takes for Sweden be the next surprise result.
