Rock star Dado Topić and the band Dragonfly have won the first semi final of the Croatian Eurovision Song Contest pre-selection Dora with maximum points, with the song Ja vjerujem u ljubav (I believe in love), with last year's runners-up Kraljevi Ulice featuring opera singer Sandra Bagarić finishing second.

The second semi final takes place tonight, and on Saturday Croatia will choose their representative for this year's Eurovision Song Contest in Helsinki. Due to Severina's unlucky 13th place in Athens last year, Croatia will have to take part in the semi final on 10th May in Finland.
