Although the full acoustic version of Calm after the storm, the Dutch entry for this year’s Eurovision Song Contest, was supposed to be premiered tonight, an alleged fragment of the track was played on Dutch radio today. The Common Linnets will perform an acoustic version of the track tonight in a Dutch talk show.
Dutch radio station 3FM presented an alleged fragment of a live recording of the acoustic version of Calm after the storm. Dutch radio DJ Giel Beelen announced the premiere, not wanting to tell how he managed to get his hands on the recording before the official premiere took place. The full acoustic version will be premiered tonight during the television show De Wereld Draait Door. The Common Linnets, consisting of Ilse DeLange and Waylon, will also talk about the track and their participation in Eurovision in the show.
The official version of Calm after the storm by The Common Linnets will be premiered on Dutch radio on Thursday 13 March. The song will be available to buy on iTunes on 14 March. Listen to the fragment of the acoustic version below.
