Tonight, the final of Eurovizijos 2014 aired on LRT, the Lithuanian national broadcaster, with Vilija being crowned the winner meaning she will now represent Lithuania at the Eurovision Song Contest 2014 with the song Attention.
After months of competition stages and live shows, the final three of Mia, Vaidas Baumila and Vilija Mataciunaite took to the stage to perform Attention, the song chosen by the Lithuanian public and a jury vote, which also ran over the course of the competition.
However, it was Vilija who came out on top after the votes of the public and jury were combined, meaning she won the right to represent her country at the Eurovision Song Contest in May. You can see her performance of the winning song below,

A special good luck concert will be airing on 15 March, which will feature Mia and performances from various Lithuanian artists before she heads off to the contest.
2014 marks 20 years since Lithuania’s debut in the Eurovision Song Contest back in 1994. They are yet to win the competition but their best result came at the Eurovision Song Contest 2006 where LT United finished in sixth place.
Last year, Andrius Pojavis represented Lithuania at the Eurovision Song Contest 2013 in Sweden with his songSomething, finishing 22nd in the final with 17 points.
