The countdown has begun to this year's Irish Eurovision selection show. At 22.30 (21.30 GMT) tonight, the folk group Dervish will perform, four songs and the public will choose the winning entry to be performed at the Eurovision Song Contest final in Helsinki on May 12th. Our Irish editor Gavin will be attending the event and will publish the interview with Dervish as soon as possible.
Here are the 4 songs:
- "They can't stop the spring"' – written by John Waters and Tommy Moran.
- "Walk with me" – written by Stig Lindell.
- "The thought of you" – written by Matti Kallio.
- "Until we meet again" – written by Malachi Cush, Pam Sheyne, Martin Sutton and Don Mescall

Also performing at the final will be three previous winners of the Eurovision Song Contest, 'Dana', 'Eimear Quinn' and 'Brotherhood of Man'.
There will also be a performance from Dmitry Koldun who will represent Belarus at this year's Eurovision Song Contest in Helsinki with the song Work your magic.
Bookmakers William Hill have the song Until We Meet Again , which was written by Malachi Cush, Pam Sheyne, Martin Sutton and Don Mescall, as their 15-8 favourite for the Eurosong final.
