Olivia Lewis, the landslide winner of this year�s Maltese national final with her song VERTIGO, will be making a guest appearance in the Mission Eurovision pre-final gala in Spain this weekend. The show will be held on the 17th February and Olivia is expected to perform the 2007 Maltese entry. Afterwards she is scheduled to fly to Cyprus to perform at the Cypriot grand gala presentation of Evridiki�s song Comme ci, comme ca.

Malta has a strong tradition of sending their Eurovision Song Contest entry to many shows across Europe as part of their preparations and promotion of their national entry. The small Meditteranian country also has one of the proudest traditions of hosting many of the competitors before the Eurovision Song Contest takes place in May.

The Scandinavian production house behind Carola’s 2006 Eurovision Song Contest song, Invincible has confirmed it will be producing the new version of Vertigo. The production house will be working on a new version for remastering in Stockholm at the end of this month. Very soon, all Eurovision fans will be able to listen to the final Eurovision mix of Malta's entry, along with its exotic club mix.
