The Israeli national final will be broadcasted from Kibbutz Dorot, on February 27th. A calculated mixture between televoting and the choice of the IBA's Eurovision jury will determine the song Teapacks will perform in the 2007 Eurovision Song Contest's semifinal.

The 500 seats auditorium of Kibbutz Dorot, a communal village in the southern periphery of Israel, is the venuethat the IBA selectedto host this year's national final. The band Teapacks, who was already chosen to represent Israel in the 2007 Eurovision Song Contest, will record the clips of the 4 songs in the final, which will be broadcasted in February 27th. The show will be hosted by the model and TV hostess Natali Atiya and IBA's reporter, Noa Barak. The entry for Helsinki will be selected through a combination of a televote and the IBA's jury's vote.

The whole show will be dedicated as a tribute to the country's southern periphery, from which the members of Teapacks hail from. Apart from the performancesof Teapacks, other well known bands and artists from this region of the country are expected to take partin the show. The venue is expected to be filled with Eurovision fans, mostly from OGAE Israel, which is also assisting in show's production.
