Tonight, at The Reservoir Club in Paris, Bruno Berberes and the team behind the French 2007 Eurovision Song Contest selection process will host an exclusive presentation of the ten songs. As esctoday.com revealed last friday in our first review of the songs, there is a definite modern and varied vibe coming from France this year and of course, esctoday.com will be live at the event to cover all the news and views for our readers. We will also be presenting clips of all ten songs exclusively on esctoday.com after midnight.
Although the official presentation of the songs takes place in Paris tonight, two acts are using a special dispensation granted to publish clips on their myspace pages. Medit-T and Jennifer Chevallier have taken advantage of this allowance.
Medi-T describe themselves as Reggae / Reggaeton / Afro-beat on their page, and there is a clear Caribbean vibe in their entry. Click here to listen toa clip on On and on. Jennifer Chevallier describes herself as Pop / Rock / Acoustic. A clip of her entry, Mon étoile is also available to listen to here.
Partner website Belgovision.com reports that Les Vedettes will be first on stage at the event. "We will be the first act to take the stage around 8 o'clock in the evening" Les Vedettes told Belgovision.com before leaving for Paris. The ten French finalists won't only present their songs to the press tonight. France Télévisions will also shoot images to be included in the introductory clips of all artists, to be aired by the five channels of France Télévisions as of 10th February.
After midnight tonight, esctoday.com will be presenting a special article including clips of alltenentries in the French national final. We will also be launching a competition to win a presspack from tonight's event at the Reservoir Club including a compilation CD with all ten songsincluded.
