Tonight, Romania will select the last six semi-finalists to proceed to the final round of the Romanian selection. The live telecast / webcast is scheduled to begin at 19:10 CET.

Twelve songs were supposed to compete in each semi final. Indiggo's song Lovestruck was disqualified when the artists missed the first rehearsals for this heat on Thursday, so only eleven entries will be presented tonight. Giulia Nahmany's song Make it was also disqualified from the first semi final. Six songs out of tonight's heat, chosen by a jury (50 %) and televoting (50 %), will qualify to join six songs from the last heat for the final. The eventual winner will then be chosen in the grand final on 10th February.

Just like last week, the interval act will include many EurovisionSong Contest classics performed by Romanian artists as well as a 'boxing match' between two famoussingers. Also as last week, esctoday.com will present live and frequently updated coverage of the telecast tonight.

The winner of the national final will be directly qualified for the Eurovision Song Contest final in Helsinki since Mihai Traistariu finished 4th in Athens with Tornerò.
