Barbara Schöneberger has been chosen as the host for the 2014 German Eurovision national final- Unser Song Fur Danemark. The presenter, singer and actress will host both the club concert that will take place on 27 February and Unser Song Für Dänemark on 13 March.

Barbara Schöneberger, who was a member of the juries in both Unser Star Für Oslo and Unser Song für Deutschland, says it is an honour to be able to host the national final this year. “I am looking forward to the shows. Eurovision is still a big thing and not only because of the music, but even the haircuts”, Schöneberger explained.

The presenter will host the club concert on 27 February, which will be broadcasted by NDR. In this show, ten acts will compete for the eighth spot in the national final. The first seven finalists for the show are Das Gezeichnete Ich, Madeline Juno, MarieMarie, Oceana, Santiano, The Baseballs and Unheilig. Janin Reinhardt will be the host from the green room in both shows.
