Well 1995 caused much weeping, wailing and gnashing of teeth as Norway stole their second victory with the Rolf Lovland penned Nocturne. Secret Garden was a sort of new age commune choir and mini orchestra. The entry caused controversy as most of the song, if it can be termed so, was structured to only have vocals at the start and at the end with most of the track being an instrumental piece. However they did indeed win and Secret Garden went on to bigger and better things, anyone remember You raise me up? PS. Why is it new age hippies always have a knowing smile on their face like there is some big cosmic joke we have all missed?
