We already know that the famous Croatian opera singer Sandra Bagarić will take part in Dora 2007, the Croatian national final, with the 2006 runners-up Kraljevi Ulice, however she will also be in competion with her fellow opera singer Ivanka Boljkovac. Dora 2007 will be held on 3rd March in the Crystall Ballroom of Hotel Kvarner in Opatija. Before the final, two semi finals will take place on 1st and 2nd March.
Ivanka will sing with Davorin Bogović and Mladen Burnać,presenting Nema šanse, šećeru (No chance, sugar). Both opera divas say that they hope the public will enjoy the combination of their voices with those of chansoniers and rockers. Another Croatian opera singer, the soprano Lidija Horvat, represented the country in 1995 with Magazin and the song „Nostalgija“, finishing 6th.
Due to Severina's 13th place in Athens last May, Croatia will have to take part in the semi final in Helsinki on 10th May.
