The organizers of Misión Eurovisión have stated clearly today that NoSon2 are not selected to take part in the Spanish preselection. They are not participating in any of the Galas in which the Spanish song and singer are being chosen.

Several Spanish media are saying these days that the duet formed by the sisters Sonia and Noelia Arenas is to participate in Misión Eurovisión. The organizers of the preselection have denied all these rumours today. Anyway, the final deadline is fixed for next 15th January, so the broadcaster TVE will wait until that date to decide what singers and groups are taking part in the Galas.

Songs rejected
But the truth is that all the songs submitted by the record company BPC Records have been turned down by Misión Eurovisión organization. The reason is clear: Both Torero, Quédate o Márchate and La Vida Gira are present in the NoSon2's latest CD, edited on June 22th 2006, violating the EBU's rules. Those regulations don't allow to submit themes published before October 1st 2006.
