This December 24th, the Spanish broadcaster TVE is airing a concert hosted and performed by Raphael and other remarkable Spanish artists. Raphael's aim is to pay homage to Rocío Jurado (participant at the national preselection in 1971, Pasaporte a Dublín) and Rocío Dúrcal, both close friends with Raphael who died earlir this year. Moreover, it will be the first time that Raphael and his son, Manuel, sing together.

The Gala will start at 21.15 CET on TVE1. Carols, Christmas songs, tributes, surprising duets… will sound for four hours at the TVE Buñuel Studios. Amongst the guest artists to perform in this concert, Raphael has invited David Bisbal (Operación Triunfo 2002), Adamo, Paloma San Basilio (15th at Eurovision 1985), María Isabel (Junior Eurovision 2004 Winner), Chenoa, Alaska y Fangoria, Malú, Antonio Carmona, Enrique Bunbury, Álex Ubago, Ainhoa Arteta, El Arrebato, Juan Valderrama, Lolita, etc. All of them will sing live.

This is not the first Gala hosted and performed by Raphael on TVE. The Andalusian singer is a classic within the Christmas programmes on TVE: El Tamborilero (The Little Drummer Boy) Galas in the ages 60 or Nochebuena con Raphael (Christmas Eve with Raphael), more recently, are good examples. All these precious moments will be reminded with videos from the TVE's huge archive.
