Rocktaurant, Lordi�s first restaurant will open today in Rovaniemi, Finland. Lordi themselves are obviously there and promise a huge party, obviously with pyros and fireworks. Since no less than 1000 people are expected to join in the fun, including guest of honour Santa Claus, Mr Lordi's real life neighbour and local traffic police have been alerted. Up in northern Finland 1000 people do make a difference! A part of Rovaniemi centre will be closed to traffic 19.30-23 tonight.
The horror/rock themed restaurant has two floors, the other one for the whole family, the other only for kids with adults. The total number of seats is 150. It’s been divided in various spaces with various themes, but the interior’s details and the menu has been kept secret until tonight, sostay tuned for more details!
The design is done by Tomppa Kekäläinen and Teemu Koivistoinen,who are responsiblefor Lordi’s stage designs so far, and is owned by Mr Lordi or Tomi Putaansuu and Arto Koivuharju. Music is obviously 80's hard rock and melodic heavy.

If the concept proves successful there will be other Rocktaurants in Finland, and also talks about opening one in the United Kingdom have been confirmed.
Lordi were the first Eurovision Song Contest for Finland this year with Hard rock hallelujah.
