Since last November 14th, when TVE announced the Spanish preselection Misión Eurovisión, the public broadcaster has received over 800 questions about the procedure to choose the Spanish entry and entrant for the Eurovision Song Contest 2007. Jonathan
Jonathan is from Valencia and hd been working with composers Toni and Xasqui Ten on a song for the Spanish selection. After TVE changed the formula for the selection process, Jonathan decided to enter Misión Eurovisión as a singer according to our partnersite, eurovision-spain.com. According to a source of the Spanish website, Jonathan is preparing the song with both Ten composers. The collaboration is still ongoing with workon his debut album.

MALCOM
Malcom is a band created in 2002 in the Mediterranean town of Castellón de la Plana. Five friends formed this group: Jorge (voice), Adrián (guitar), Raúl (bass), David (drums) and Jacinto (programmation). They compose their own melodies and lyrics, both in Spanish and English. Leadsinger, Jorge, has spent time in England, so he can sing in fluent English. Thegroup with a metal-like sound, competed in the Valencian Rock Festival and reached the final. Their second CD is to be released next February 2007.

Ester
Ester is a young singer and composer of Estonian origin, is keen to take part in this years Spanish Preselection for Eurovision. A few years ago, she moved from Estonia to Spain, to study in the University of Barcelona. She sings and write her own Songs, she also is part of the Band Manester, an Estonian band, made up of Oliver Vare, Tõnis Teras, Andrus Avarand and Ester. Because of her Spanish studies and her interest in Spanish culture, she decided to send a few of her songs to TVE, and would participate in the Misión Eurovisión as a singer if she is given the chance.

ARIZONA BABES
Based in Sant Boi de Llobregat (Barcelona), this Country band was formed by the singer Antonio Oya and his friends Xavi and Joan Ramón. Antonio was born in Barcelona in 1971. He comes from a family related to music and arts: his grandfather and uncle were flamenco singers, and his cousin Katty is a well known Gospel soloist. Antonio's artistic career started 20 years ago, performing and directing theatre plays and musicals.

DALIA
Dalia is a former component of the band Soda 2006.The Valencian singerhas her strong points in dance (7 years training in classical and modern ballet, 3 in gymnastics and 3 times Aerobic World Champion) and music (5 years in music theory and violoncello).She hasalso showed her musical talent inother bands: La Misión and Halloween. She has also performed in various TV shows, such as Sospechosos Habituales.

CONFUSO LABERINTO
A band formed by two boys from Valencia. They will compete in the two modalities: as a group and with their theme Niña de mis sueños. They are possibly an act to have submitted themselves both as an act and as songwriters for Misión Eurovisión.

JAVIER ENZO
His real name is Javier Prudencio Zorrilla and comes from Badajoz. He has already presented his candidature in the singers modality for Misión Eurovisión. This 21-year-old boy from Badajoz moved soon to San Fernando (Andalusia), then to Catalonia and later on to Chiclana de la Frontera (Andalusia), where he started dancing and starring in a children's programme on Canal Sur TV (Andalucía TV).

At the age of 19, he started his professional career in a quarter as a vocalist; and early 2005, he joined the Internacional Orquesta Libertad de Córdoba. Javier Enzo has also entered Operación Triunfo (casting finalist), Musical Grease in Spanish and Gente de Primera (TVE1), amongst others. One year ago, he left Andalusia and moved to Madrid, chasing his musical dream. In the Spanish capital, Javier started studying a master in singing and performing at the Edith Salazar Academy.

VICENTE CASAL
Vicente submitted the song Cómo duele to the internal selection for Spain's Eurovision Song Contestselection panel in2006. Vicente Casal comes from Les Fonts de Sant Quirze (Barcelona) and is to present two entries for Misión Eurovisión. Since ten years ago, Vicente has devoted his life to music and to develop a huge artistic curriculum.

SERGIO GONZÁLEZ CARDUCCI
Born in Rosario (Argentina), Sergio is unknownto european fans, but he has composed the original soundtracks for two movies: A la sombra de los sueñosand Suiza y la migración. This year, Sergio has composed the music for the documentary Lorca, el mar deja de moverse, about Federico García Lorca.

His first musical work was a rock LP recorded in 1988. Afterwards, Sergio developed a rich career as a composer of melodies for TV ads and directed the Argentina Folklore Art Ballet. Now based in Madrid, Sergio was appointed member of the Spanish Music Arts in 2005.

Jesús Mª Pérez and Amaya Martínez
Jesús Mª Pérez and Amaya Martínez may have a sound that Eurovision Song Contest fans know already! They composed the 2003 Spanish entry Dime that Beth sung in Riga. They are better known as Andermay in the 2005 national final, are writing a song for the spanish Eurovision Song Contest preselection in 2007. Two pair have confirmed to our Partner-site, eurovision-spain.com, that they have written a song called Dame tiempo (Give Me Time) for the show. It came about after music label Song-BMG asked the two composers for songs for Laura Mourelos who sang Tu Indecisón in the final of Operación Triunfo.

Urko
Urko was once a part of the group La Fiesta is going to take his chance on Misión Eurovisión. He is 25 years old and was born in San Sebastian, and moved to Barcelona eight years ago. This young student has studied modern singing, vocal skills, artistic interpretation and many other performing skills. He was working as a Model in Barcelona for a few years before attending auditions directed by Alejandro Abad and Josep Llobell to join the band La Fiesta. The first single, toma vitamina (take Vitamins) became an Summer Hit in Spain.
