Today all 15 of the participanting countries in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2006 have finished their 2nd and final rehersals before tomorrow night's full dress rehearsal. Below you will find a full report on the second rehearsals with some opinion on who to look out for during Saturday night's competition.

Portugal
Pedro wears a white t-shirt and the stage was blue with bubbles and stars on the background. He looks very confident and his voice is in great form. The song is good and Portugal may enjoy a place in the top half of the scoreboard.

Cyprus
The choregraphyhasnot changed and the songis very catchy. No vocals problems for Cyprus, but they are certainly not the best singers in the competition. The stage lights were pink and red. Cyprus will do well to reach the top five.

Netherlands
The stage light are red and yellow and Kimberlyis a fantastic singer and peforms one of the best ballads this year. She is wearing a white costume and the dancers are wearing black ones, with more than a passing resemblence to the Dutch 2000 Eurovision Song Contest entrant, Linda Wagenmakers' dress. The dutch performance is wonderful, and the backing dancers have done well to learn a new routine in very limited time. This song could be a dark horse winner.

Romania
Peter Pan and Prince Charming have changed their costumes. The four characters will apear on stage from inside of a giantbook. The choregraphy is nice and simpleand there are no vocal problems here. The stage lights are white at the beginning of the song, and then change to pink and yellow. With the audience firmly behind this song, expect the atmosphere to be electric. Romania can win on home turf!

Ukraine
Nazar's voice is great, but there was a crisis in the Ukrainian camp today. Their costumes are very similar to the Ukrainian costumes from Eurovision 2006, so similar in fact, that it's possible to believe that thes costumes were made from recycling the Ukrainian outfits from Athens this year. The stage lighting is white and pink with red squares on the background. One of the backing dancers fell during the rehearsal and seems to have injured her ankle. She was last seen in a wheel chair being uploaded into an ambulance. Her chances of performing on Saturday night are now extremely slim. Everyone at esctoday.com wishes her a speedy recovery and hope to see her back on stage before the big night!

Spain
The stage is similar to Spain's flag, the lights being red and dark orange and the background decorated with fire and hearts. Dani's vocal problems had been solved and he sings very well now. Watch out for the 'roller shoes' – trainers with wheels at the back of the heel so they can be used as either normal trainers or roller skates! It's an interesting twist to a song that has been termed as boring by some.

Serbia
The stagewas blue with letters on the background. The performance was nice and the audience enjoyed it again. The Fearless teachers of foreign languages are doing very well on stage with bouncy performance and energy to overcome the lack of tight choreography.

Malta
Sophie impressed the audience again with her moves. In full dress, waring jeans and a pink tshirt saying simply, 'cute', Sophie comes on stage riding a small motorbike! She will perform a part of her song playing drums. She is very confident and she really wants to win the Junior Eurovision Song Contestthis year. The stage lighting is blue and yellow.

FYR Macedonia
Zana is wearing a very colorfull dress. Her voice is again very good. The problem is the choregraphy which is very slow. It will be very hard for FYR Macedonia to win this year. This ethnic style song is very popular in Romania and the Romanian audience will enjoy and vote Zana's performance. It remains to be seen how the western countries will take to this.

Sweden
One of the favourites, Molly, took to the stage in a beautiful cream dress with a gold band around it. Accompanied by two backing singers on stage now, which appears to remove the lonely look from the first rehearsal, Molly seems more confident and her voice is stronger than ever. She has great stage presence, can perform toboththe audience and the camera and is gettingbetter with every performance. The stage is coloured ingrey/blue, dark pink and blue. This song would not be at all out of place at Eurovision Song Contest proper and should at least finish in the top three.

Greece
The stage lights are pink and yellow. Chloe is wearing the same costume that was used for the Greek national selection for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest. Her voice is good once again. The choregraphy is a little over-performed, it seems to take away from the song.

Belarus
The stage colours are red and green changing into grey at the midle of the song. Andrey's voice is very good and he is one ofthe bestperformersthis year. Everyone loves Andey! The song is contageous and as one of the youngest competitors, hemay well pick up the 'cutie' votes this year. It's a similar formula to last year and Belarus will have very strong reason to believe that they canwin the Junior Eurovision Song Contest for a second year running!

Belgium
Thor! is one of the youngest singers in the competition, but sings directly after Belarus. Comparisons may be drawn, but Belarus may just edge it. The stage colours are dark blue and green trying to look like a dark night and will be used also smoke on stage. Thor!, one of the early favorites to win, is a little stiff on stage, and the song is more about the words than the vocal ability. The song is still very muchenjoyed by the audience but Belgium are going to struggle to reach the top three this year.

Croatia
Mateo will perform alone on stage. His vocal skils are good enaugh to impress the audience and he looks like Ricky Martin, dressed in a decorated dark blue denim outfit. Yellow colour dominates the stage during his strong vocalperformance.

Russia
The final song, and it has the 'cute' factor. Two young twins perform this song that sounds more than a little like the theme form the tv show Bonnie and Clyde. The song isnice and easy to appeal to the viewers. The girls are well synchronized (as twins) and they have very beautiful and cute voices. Many peopel feel that it is only a matter of time before Russia wins a Eurovision title, and this could very well win from the back this year.
