Céline Dion has cancelled all engagements for the next week due to a bronchial infection. In addition to her Las Vegas performances, an upcoming TV performance is also shelved.
Reports today say that Céline Dion has contracted mycoplasma bronchitis, a contagious respiratory infection. As a result she's been sent to bed for a week's rest. That meansfive cancelled performances of A New Day… and a cancelled appearance on next week's Billboard Music Awards television, where she was to present a lifetime achievement to singer Tony Bennett, as well as sing a song. Ticket holders for the Vegas shows will be given either a refund or tickets for a future date.
We here at esctoday.com wish Céline a speedy recovery!
