Today the morning rehearsals for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest in Sala Polivalenta, Bucharest have finished. Portugal's Pedro , Cyprus's Louis & Khristina and Kimberly of the Netherlands perfomed their songs live on stage.

Portugal
Pedro's voice is clearly one of the best this year. The stage was full of blue lights with bubbles on the background , and on the 2nd part some green and orange light were added. With Pedro's great voice and song, Portugal are considered contenders to win the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2006!

About Pedro:
Pedro was born on 11th November 1992, in Vendas Novas. He started piano lessons at the age of four, and later took guitar and singing lessons. Besides music, his hobbies include table tennis, model aircraft construction, internet and gaming.

In 2003 and 2005 he won two children's songs festivals. 9th grader Pedro also has plans to take a media course.

Cyprus
The stage lights were pink and red. The choregraphy it's a litle bit inspired by Ruslana's performance in the Eurovion Song Contest 2004 and the vocalssoudned a litle bit weird in the hall. With their nice song Agoria Koritsia and with some improvments Cyprus may be a good suprise this year.

AboutChristina Christofi and Louis Panagiotou:
Christina Christofi was born in Limassol on 23rd December, 1994. She has been taking piano and voice lessons for three years now. At the age of 4, she began taking ballet, jazz, modern and street dance lessons. Her dream is to one day become a professional singer. Besides Greek, Christina is also fluent in Finnish.

Louis Panagiotou was born in Nicosia on 5th June, 1993. He began taking piano lessons at the age of 6 and his dream is to become a distinguished musician. Besides music, he enjoys swimming. He also loves exploring different matters involving ships, as well as designing them and therefore he admires a captain’s work.

Louis and Christina first met at the CyBC’s studios in 2005, while they were participating in the local contest for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest. Although rivals at the time, a strong friendship began thanmks to their shared love for music and the following year they decide to enter the contest as a duet.

Netherlands
During the first part of the song, the stage light were green and yellow and in the 2nd part the stage becomes orange.The choregraphy is the same as it was the national selection. Kimberley has an amazing voice , nice song , nice performance! Do you think that this year's winner will be Kimberly?

About Kimberley:
Kimberly is 15 years old and lives with her mother in Arnhem, located in the east of the Netherlands. When she was seven years old she started singing in a church choir and discovered that she likes singing and performing.

When she is not at school, Kimberlylikes playing with her band or taking musical classes. Her goal for the future is to become a musical star. She was recently selected for a pre-program of the Dutch academy of music, an opportunity that is not given to many people of her age!

Her song Goed is about being yourself. She believes that she can achieve the most in life when you believe in yourself!

  • 17.15 – 18.10 – Rehersal for Malta

I was born on March 27th 1992 in Bucharest, Romania.
