The winner of 2006 OGAE Home Composed Song Contest, Patryk Smolarek, has submitted his song for The Song For Europe 2007 Polish preselection for Eurovision Song Contest. Patryk will try to win his ticket to the Polish nation final, perhaps even Helsinki, with the song Nieprawdopodobni stan according to his myspace page.
The twenty-four-year old Polish song writer and singer wrote his first lyrics when he was nine. He played a guitar in a heavy metal band at the age of fourteen. Since 1997, he has been performing his own songs. In 2003 Patryk performed on Polish TV in Szansa na sukces program. This year he won The OGAE Home Composed Song Contest with the song Daruj Sobie Zlosliwosc. He has yet to record his firs album.
