esctoday.com has received the news that Bosnia & Herzegovina have started preparations for their national selection for the 2007 Eurovision Song Contest! They are currently forming the team that will select the Bosnian entry for the competition.
Most likely Bosnia& Herzegovina will stick to their successful 2006 formula. This means they will ask asongwriter to write a song first, and then they will look for a suitable performer.
Last year the Bosnian& Herzegovinanentry 'Lejla' was composed by Zelkjo Joksimovic, who represented Serbia& Montenegro at the 2004 Eurovision Songcontest, and performed by Hari Mata Hari. The song reached third position in Athens, which meant Bosnia& Herzegovina qualified directly for the 2007 final.
