Composer Fani Hodara said that the whole delegation is happy to be in Tallinn. Yesterday they had an interesting sightseeing tour.
“ESC has surely changed our lives!” said Dilek Aba, one of the members of Sapphire. “It's like a dream.” But after they get home to Turkey their main priority will be to deal with their studies and finish school.
The Turkish performance includes lots of choreographic elements, which took the performers two months to learn; they were designed by a team of Turkish and Russian choreographers. The press conference was concluded with a quote from the song written by Figen Cakmak, the lyricist behind “Leylaklar Soldu Kalbinde”: “Truth can be hidden from somewhere, and dreams may have their own prize; but love can wash away all your tears, and courage can take away all fears.”
