The 2007 Croatian national final, Dora, to select the country's Eurovision Song Contest entry, is to be held in Opatja once again. Croatian Radio Television company, HRT, confirmed that Dora will have two semifinals on the 1st and 2nd of March, and a final on 3rd March 2007.

HRT Director General Mirko Galic and Mayor of Opatija Amir Muzur agreed today that Opatija will host Dora, Croatian competition for Eurovision Song Contest. The three-night music festival Dora will be held on the first weekend of March in Crystal Hall of Kvarner Hotel in Opatija.

Croatia has participated fourteen timesat the Eurovision Song Contest,winning it's best placing (4th) in 1996. All Croatian entries were the winners of the Dora festival. As Severina ranked 13that last year's competition in Athens, Croatia will go to semi-final in Helskini and need to qualify for the Saturday night grand final.
