Young Teresa Stroble will sing a new kid-friendly version of Texas Lightning's song No, No Never in the Kiddy Contest a popular German language song contest for kids. Teresa's version of the song is called Pferdefieber (Horse Fever) and sets new lyrics about a girl and her horse to the familiar Eurovision tune. Pferdefieber is featured on a CD, The Kiddy Contest Vol. 12, which hit stores in Germany and Austria today.
The Kiddy Contest is a popular programme for children organized by Austrian broadcaster ORF and the German kid's network Super RTL connected to Disney. The annual contest features young finalists singing kid-friendly German language versions of pop hits. Teresa is 12 years-old and lives in Vienna, Austria.The winning song will be selected by televoting. The original No, No Never was the German entry to the Eurovision Song Contest in 2006 only reaching 15th place though it remains very popular in Germany. Die-hard No, No Never fans will be able to find a sample of Pferdefieber on the Kiddy Contest homepage with a little bit of effort.
The Kiddy Contest will be broadcast live on ORF and Super RTL Wednesday, November 1 at 16.00 (CET).
