The Belgian entrant Sergio has come up with an alternative way to present himself to the rest of the world. He presents his autobiography via comics. Also he did the second rehearsal today.

Over the past few days, Sergio has been handing out comics about himself in the Eurovision press centre. The comic illustrates some of Sergio's childchood/teen activities – football (UK: soccer) and boxing, as well as his current hobbies, i.e. running a bar.

One picture depicts Sergio in his teens running away from an elderly person in the middle of a road, accompanied by the caption, “I could be very nice as well (as a child). I always helped elderly ladies halfway across the streets.”

In the second rehearsals, this afternoon, it appeared the Belgian delegation changed something to the light colours on stage. After the first rehearsal, where black and white were the most important colours, many fans as well as the delegation suggested that other colours would be used.

On Thursday, May 23rd, at 8 pm Sergio will take off in the official Belgian balloon, called Messenger from Belgium. The event will take place at the Bay of Tallinn, Narva mnt, near the Kadriorg Park.

The baloon was a project of Sven Heirman, patronized by the Prime Minister Guy Verhofstadt during the Belgian EU presidency in 2001. The balloon is used for very important events of national concern, such as Eurovision Song Contest. Sergio will choose one guest to join him during his flight.
