Svante Stockselius, the executive supervisor of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest, revealed today that for the first time the entrance for the show is made only by invitations and without tickets available for sale.
Anyone interested in watching the show live in Bucharest on 2nd December, can contact Mioara Negescu, who is cordinating the project for Romanian broadcaster TVR. An e mail address will soon be given by the organisers. The tickets will all befor free.
According to Svante Stockselius, the reason for this procedure is that too high taxes would have to be paid by TVR if the tickets were for sale. Furthermore, a higher interest in the Junior competition is expected.
