Current Eurovision winners Lordi have cancelled the Spanish stage of their tour Bringing Back The Balls To Europe. The reason cited by Lordi on the band's webpage is that “some of the members of the band and the crew caught a cold and became ill”.

Four concerts were to be held in Spain between October 14th and 20th. In the end, Spanish fans of the Finnish band have to wait for other opportunity. Lordi has blamed it on a "furious flu going around the band and the crew for few weeks". No one has been unaffected, and even Lordi's support band, The Dogma, have fallen foul of the bug.

This announcement also explains the condition of the members of the band: "Kita was really sick but is already getting better, Amen is just now coming down with it, Ox even had an ear infection, and now, Awa and myself (Mr. Lordi) became seriously sick".

Disappointment
Lordi's members have shown their disappointment about the cancellation of the Spanish dates: "We are really sorry and disappointed", they say on their official website. Moreover, the band "deeply apologise" to their fans in Spain, and they will "definitely try and make it up to them!".

• October 18th: Sala La Riviera (Madrid)
• October 19th: Sala Apolo (Barcelona)
• October 20th: Sala Jam (Bergara)

The tour will continue in Antwerp, Belgium, on October 22nd.
