Popular television presenter, Andreea Marin, will host the fourth Junior Eurovision Song Contest. The Romanian celebrity will be the first solo presenter of the Junior competition. The 31 year old seems a perfect choice, she has a strong career already and is predicted to become one of the most familiar faces of Romanian television. She also has experience of the Eurovision Song Contest and working with children's television.
Already a popular news anchor and popular television show host in Romania, TVR has decided that Andreea is ready to host the Junior Eurovision Song Contest. She also has experience in hosting several children's television and entertainmentshows. The event, taking place on December 2nd, will feature 15 countries, the running order was completed earlier today.
She is the first solo presenter of the competition following Remee and Camilla Ottesen in Denmark (2003), Stian Barsnes Simonsen and Nadia Hasnaoui (Norway 2004) and Marchel Vanthilt and Maureen Louys in Belgium (2005). Andreea has already twice appeared on the Eurovision Song Contest, reading out the Romanian televote results in 2004 and 2006.
