The website of Sophie Debattista, Maltese representative at the 2006 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, has apparently been hijacked by a religious group, it was reported today on escmalta.com.

At the time of writing, visitors to Sophie's site totallysophie.com are greeted with the line "THÝS SÝTE HACKED BY UNHACK FOR ISLAM" and messages in Turkish.

Speaking to escmalta.com, Sophie's father and manager Godwin Debattista lamented that the site of an 11-year-old had been targetted in this way, and assured fans that her team are working around the clock to solve the problem.

Sophie is due to sing Extra cute in Bucharest this December 2nd.
