Former Spanish Eurovision Song Contest participant, Beth, will be releasing her first English album, titled 'My own way home' this month. The singer, who finished joint 8th in the 2003 competition in Riga, having been one of the favourites to win, has two albums already, both recorded in Spanish. Beth's first English album marks a return to the music scene after several years away. It follows the albums Otra realidad from 2003 and Beth, palau de la musica catalana in 2004, both of which are now available on itunes.The CD has been recorded in London andis being released by Warner Music and produced by Suso Saizwho was worked with many Spanish singers includingLuz Casal, Duncan Dhu, Celtas Cortosand Luis Eduardo Aute. It is due for release in Spain on Monday, with release dates in other countries to be announced soon.
For fans of Beth singing in her native tongue, there will betwo tracks in Spanish called A veces and Hacerte feliz and one in Catalan entitled Suria. The album features the recent single Rain on me, released for radio play last month in Spain. Other tracks include Lullaby, My own way home and Deep inside.
