New day performed by Andrey Kunets is going to Bucharest as Belarus' entry for Junior Eurovision Song Contest. Andrey was announced the winner after competng against ten other entries for the title.
The full results were not given, but instead, Andrey Kunets was just announced the winner.
In his biography on the BTRC website, Andrey says: ''Sing no matter what! Sing in spite of stuff! Sing to keep on dreaming! Sing for luck!"Andreywas born in Mozyr and lives there now. His star sign is Saggitarius, he likes Russian literature and "the Universe".
He wants to be a singer professionally, too. "I like singing and drawing. My hobby is cycling. I took up music from my mother's insistence. My favourite bands are UME's Studio and Mozyr. My song is about a new day, joy, light and love. I've taken part in some music events as Land under the White Wings (1st place, Mozyr), Golden Bee (Grand Prix, Klimovichi), People’s Friendship (Grand Prix, Kaizerslautern). I took advice of my mentor and made up my mind to take part in Junior Eurovision.''
Andrey is going to try to win the Junior Eurovision Song Contest for Belarus for a second time in a row, after the country won last year in Hasselt.
