Members of the public will decide just which number one hits Brian Kennedy (who represented Ireland at the Eurovision Song Contest 2006 in Athens) � and his guests � will be singing. Members of the public voted in May for their favourite number one hits for each of the ten shows. A selection of the top songs, as voted by members of the public, will then be performed on 1 to Remember with Brian Kennedy.�
The summer series will culminate in a Grand Finale tonight in which the ten most popular Irish Number One Hits from the entire series – voted upon by the public each week – will be sung in this one hour special and the result will be announced later on in the evening.
Brian Kennedy talked of his excitement about the show. "It's been a hugely busy, exciting and nerve-wracking time throughout the lead-up and performances for the Eurovision. I'm delighted with how I performed for the country – and for myself – and I'm very much looking forward to the show. I'm hoping that the Irish public will come out in their droves to vote for their favourite No 1".
The Grand Final airs tonight on RTÉ ONE at 19:00 with the results show at 21:25 (GMT).
