Martin Stenmarck, who represented Sweden at the 2005 Eurovision Song Contest has roared back to number one in Sweden. Almost 18 months to the day after the release of his Melodifestivalen winner, Las Vegas, 7Milakliv has returned him to the top of the pile.
Although a popular singer for some time in Sweden, Martin Stenmarck has not had too much commerical success until his unexpected triumph at Melodifestivalen 2005. His entry, Las Vegas, failed to achieve the same popularity across Europe, and he could only take Sweden to a lowly 19th place at the Eurovision Song Contest in Kyiv last May.
Las Vegas remained on the Swedish chart for 17 weeks, although it only hit number one for one week. Stenmarck's latest hit has been riding high for 3 weeks since entering the chart in top spot. The song has more than a hint of Coldplay about it and features a dark video in which Stenmarck's reflection breaks from his actual image and shaves its head.
