Spanish representative in ESC 1982, Lucía, has released a new album including a new remix version of her Eurovision entry Él.
Bajo los efectos del amor (Under love effects) is the title of Lucía's new album. Lucía has released this new CD album after years of absence from the music scene. This CD is important for fans because it includes a new remix version of Él, Lucía's entry in Harrogate 1982.
Evolution
With this new record, Lucía evolves from flamenco-pop to a purer pop style. Bajo los efectos del amor has got the collaboration from Luis Villa, who represented Spain in the 1998 OTI Song Contest and composed Si te vas, song that took part in the Spanish preselection for Eurovision 2000.
Lucia represented Spain in the 1982 Eurovision Song Contest which took place in Harrogate, in the United Kingdom. Her entry, Él, got 52 points, coming 10th out of 18 participants. That year the victory went to Germany. Nicole, with Ein bisschen frieden, is the only German winner so far.
