Belgium's Kate Ryan with her Eurovision entry Je t'adore came third in TVP's Sopot Festival. The event was won by the Danish group Outlandish, followed by Polish band Button Hackers.

Ten performers and their songs competed in TVP's Sopot Festival: Ampop (Iceland), Anggun (France), Beats and Styles (Finland), Blondy (Romania), Nate James (United Kingdom), Lena (Denmark), Outlandish (Denmark), Kate Ryan (Belgium), Christian Walz (Sweden) and the Polish band Button Hackers, who had been voted to represent Poland one day earlier. The winner was chosen by jury and televoting.

After receiving the 3rd prize Kate Ryan said was very happy and thankful. She did mention the Eurovision Song Contest Semifinal in Athens, where she hadn't made it through and therefore it felt even better to know she had so many fans in Poland. The prize she won was $10.000 US.

An additional Eurovision connection was a Polish cabaret dressed up to imitate Lordi.

The whole event was broadcast by TVP1 and TV Polonia, and also in internet at itvp.pl, where it will be available to rewatch.
