LT United's entry We Are The Winners is only in its third week of release, and has already hit the gold mark in native Lithuania. With sales of over 3000 in the country, the single will be ready to take the Platinum trophy fairly soon.
The sixth placing gained by the group in Athens in May has certainly helped sales to fly along,with thesingle also having been released in Finland, The Netherlands as well as Internet sites across the globe. In an international pop twist, last weekat a concert in Belgium, Robbie Williams performed a few lines from the track to an enthusiastic international audience. All this makes We are the winners the only Lithuanian entry to have mustered so much attention beyond the confines of its own country.
LT United are currently recording a second track, Fashion Show, which is likely to be available for preview sometime next week.
