Malene Winther Mortensen, the representative of Denmark is one of the performers who uses the catwalk. It was shown in the first rehearsal Malene had this morning.
Danish performer was happy after her first rehearsal. About the importance of her result, she said that she only has one goal – for Denmark to be in the contest next year. “And of course we all want to win, but that's just a dream,” she adds.
Morten Carlsson, Head of Delegation, explains that though the songs in the Danish national final are always in Danish they are translated into English for ESC. “We don't want to maximize our chances of winning or we don't want to reduce our chances of winning, he said. “Danish sounds like a throat disease for lot of coutries,” she added.
