During the semifinal of this year's Eurovision Song Contest, Andre from Armenia suffered from a minor incident; the microphone end of his head set ended up in his mouth. “Many people thought I was confused and forgort my lines, but that's not true”, Andre said during a press conference.

Andre is generally satisfied with his achievement in Athens. "At the end, the Finns came to tease the competition a bit, but at the end they won!", he pointed out.

Although the relationship between Turkey and Armenia hasn't always been the best, Andre got 10 points from Turkey, which "didn't surprise" him. "I think not only the Armenian communities abroad supported me, but also people from other nationalities", he explained. Although happy, Andre was hoping to get some points from the Scandinavian countries as well. Nevertheless, he managed to qualify his home country for next year's competition as well!

To the question who he would like to see representing Armenia next year in Finland, Andre replied: "Let's send the one who deserves most".
