The 2007 Eurovision Song Contest will take place in Finland! Therefore, we are searching for people from Finland to join the voluntary team of editors. They should have a dedication to the Eurovision Song Contest, journalism and a great interest in web media.

Responsibilities

  • Writing news articles in English
  • Covering the national selection procedures of the country you live in (and surrounding countries)
  • Editing articles by following format standard of the web and esctoday.com
  • Keeping esctoday.com up-to-date with the latest information available about the organisation of the 2007 Eurovision Song Contest
  • Willing to join the esctoday.com during the Eurovision weeks in May 2007

Requirements

  • Familiarity with the internet, MSN Messenger and computers as such
  • Excellent communication skills and strong sense of team spirit
  • Available for several hours a week (irregular times)
  • Willing to work voluntarily and individually when necessary
  • Detailed knowledge about the Eurovision Song Contest

Preferred

  • BA or MA in English or journalism or equal experience
