Sweden has taken pole position as the bookies' favourite to win the Eurovision Song Contest aftermaking it through the semifinal last night. Former favourite Belgium has been removed from the picture after Kate Ryan's shock exit, and betting odds have reshuffled dramatically.

Sweden pushes Greece down into second favourite position with many bookmakers after Carola made it through with a very favourable draw of 22nd position. Bosnia and Herzegovina too has leaped up to much shorter odds as third favourite to win.
