Kate Ryan's team are back on track after an additional meeting with ERT to iron out any final problems with sound levels on the semifinal stage.

The meeting was arranged by the host broadcaster, after technical problems beyond the control of the team hampered initial rehearsals.Items on the agenda included the exact setting of the sound levels in the final mix and in the earpieces of the artists on stage. Some of the camera shots are also still under discussion. The outcome: Belgium have now caught up and are back on track with the rest of tonight's contestants.

Fewer fireworks, more focus
Already the performance has undergone some minor changes, namely a toning down of the pyrotechnic effects which at first seemed to overpower the presentation. The subtler use of fireworks promotes a much greater focus on the song itself.

After already seeing a single release in several European countries, a UK release may be on the cards if Kate's result is good, according to a spokesperson for the Belgian delegation. With the third and final dress rehearsal for the semifinal about to begin, spectators will have another opportunity to sum up Kate's chance to hit the top tonight.
