After a long, long day, Croatia finished the last day of general rehearsals and press conferences. Or, as one of the journalists said; “you're unlucky to be here this late, but being last in the competition isn't really unlucky”

Language
During the press conference, Severina explained that she prefers singing in her own language. "I like English, especially because everyone understands it pretty much", she said. "But the Eurovision Song Contest is not a contest for English songs only, it's about music and I like singing in my own language most". When she admitted that she likes the Greek language as well, she got some positive attention from the Greek fans a press who attended today's last conference.

"I make music with my heart, my soul and… my legs", Severina joked.

Glass sculpture
Just like all the other artists, Severina was awarded a glass plate with the lyrics of her song in Greek engraved. Although an attempt to read the lyrics failed, she seemed to be pleasantly surprised. This nice gesture was brought to this year's participants by OGAE Greece.

Party time!
At 21:30 local time, journalists and fans decided to leave for one of the many parties around Athens, given by participants, delegations and ambassadors. Greece and Russia give their official parties at the EuroClub, while welcome parties take place at the Swedish and Belgian delegations as well (on invitation only). Ich Troje, the band that represents Poland this year, gives a concert in downtown Athens.
