Spain and the Eurovision Song Contest
TVE received 245 songs for its internal selection, of which four were left after a first selection. Finally, the song of Manuel Ruiz Gómez, who also wrote The ketchup song, won the selection, and thus Las Ketchup goes to Athens to represent Spain.

Las Ketchup
In 2002, Las Ketchup had a big hit with Aserejé, which soon changed into The ketchup song. At that time with three, now there are four sisters in the group: Pilar, Dolores, Lucía and Rocío Muñoz. Their song for Athens will be released European-wide on Monday 8th May, their album a week later.
